The members include people of all ethnicities in the United States, with an average age of 22, and most of them are college students. This event was successfully held at the invitation of Beijing International Education Exchange Center, Chengde Tourism and Culture Radio and Television Bureau, World Federation of Young Scientists, and Beijing Association for Science and Technology Education Promotion, with strong support from the International Cultural and Educational Exchange Department of China International Travel Service.
Through various forms such as cultural exchanges, tourism visits, and campus interactions, the event not only builds bridges for deepening mutual understanding between the two peoples and enhancing people to people friendship, but also injects humanistic momentum into the healthy and stable development of China US relations.
The development of China US relations cannot be separated from the joint efforts of young people from both sides. In the current special period of China US relations, this cultural exchange activity is of great significance.
Xu Shaoli, the president of the American Flying Tigers Friendship Association, stated that in 1941, General Chenault led young American pilots to China to aid in the Anti Japanese War. More than 2000 American Flying Tigers have sacrificed their lives in China, while Chinese military and civilians have risked their lives to rescue over 200 American Flying Tigers. This time we are organizing American technology youth to come to China for cultural exchange, in order to inherit the spirit of the Flying Tiger and promote cultural exchange together. Looking back at history, more than 80 years ago during the turbulent era of war, the "Flying Tigers" of China and the United States fought side by side, enduring the test of blood and fire with the Chinese people, and forming a deep "China US relationship". Looking towards the future, as two major countries, China and the United States jointly shoulder important responsibilities for world peace, stability, and development.
The spirit of the Flying Tiger carries the bond of cooperation. The visit of the American Flying Tigers Friendship Association's technology youth delegation to China this time is not only a concrete practice of cultural exchange, but also a manifestation of promoting the spirit of cooperation among the Flying Tigers.
Entering China and experiencing its customs and traditions firsthand is something that cannot be felt through classroom teaching. Through this visit activity, students have gained an understanding of China's profound history, traditional culture, and the latest developments in its economy. This also allows American teenagers to truly perceive the vitality and charm of contemporary China from different perspectives.
The sponsor has carefully arranged a cultural experience tour, visiting the National Museum of China, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, Bubble Mart Urban Park, East Four Hutongs, Chengde Mountain Resort, and Chengde Vocational College of Applied Technology.

During the visit, a classmate expressed that she has been to many countries, and China makes her feel that everyone here is very friendly and willing to help others. Some people also say that he used to only travel to Europe, but through this trip to China, he hopes to explore the entire Eastern world.
Finally, Xu Shaoli, the president of the American Flying Tigers Friendship Association, also stated that the history of the Flying Tigers' aid to China and resistance against Japan tells us that peace is hard won and needs to be jointly maintained. We look forward to more members of the Flying Tigers in the new era telling the stories of China and promoting the spirit of cooperation between the Flying Tigers, so that the spirit of Flying Tigers can be passed down from generation to generation between the two peoples.
